Epoxy Floor Coatings in Port Charlotte, FL
High-build garage and interior floor systems that resist oil, chemicals, and daily wear. Flake, metallic, and solid-color finishes create a seamless, easy-clean surface that looks finished instead of like raw concrete.
What an epoxy floor is
Epoxy is a bonded coating system rolled and built over diamond-prepped concrete. TECS Enterprises, LLC uses it on garages, workshops, and interior slabs that need a seamless floor that stands up to tires, tools, and spills.
Prep decides whether it lasts. We grind and repair the slab first. A kit rolled over dusty concrete is not the same job.

Epoxy vs. polyaspartic
Epoxy builds a hard, seamless interior floor and usually costs less up front. It can yellow in direct sun and needs more cure time before you park.
Polyaspartic typically cures faster, handles UV better, and is the usual pick when the garage door stays open or you need the floor back in about a day. We recommend one after we see sun exposure and how you use the space.
What we need from the slab
The concrete has to be sound, reasonably dry, and ground so the coating bonds. Moisture issues, coatings that are peeling, and oil-soaked spots get dealt with before we schedule the color coat.
If polyaspartic is the better system for your garage, we will say so on the visit.
How an epoxy job runs
1. Inspect
Sun, moisture, cracks, and how soon you need to park again.
2. Grind and repair
Mechanical prep, crack work, and a clean profile.
3. Coat and cure
Base, flake or metallic if specified, topcoat, then a drive-on timeline.
Epoxy coating FAQs
Is epoxy good for Florida garages?
Yes when the slab is prepped and the system matches sun exposure. Open, sun-soaked garages often do better with a UV-stable topcoat or polyaspartic.
How long before I can park on it?
It depends on the system and temperature. Plan on several days for many epoxy builds. Polyaspartic is often closer to 24 hours. You get a timeline before we start.
Will it peel under hot tires?
Peel usually means poor prep or the wrong system for heat and UV. We grind the slab and spec a system that belongs in a Florida garage.
What colors can I get?
Flake blends, metallics, and solid colors. Bring a photo or a house color and we will narrow it on the visit.
